Well, after painting the bathroom last night, we got up this morning and reevaluated our to-do list. First things first, we decided to keep the standard light fixture, at least for now ($100 saved). Next, we are going to push doing the flooring back to next Sunday, that way my mom (who did her entire house on her own) can help us. We also decided to wait until next Sunday to get the new fixtures for the towel racks and all that stuff. So, what is left to do? Well, thanks to my amazing husband, he put the old fixtures back up and went ahead and installed the new shower curtain rod (thanks to an awesome neighbor for letting us use their drill!).
Excuse the flooring samples, we were trying to decide on which direction we wanted to lay it next weekend. But, that's the "finished product" after the new shower curtain rod got installed.
Not too shabby for some first time DIYers! More to come!!
