Bathroom Redecoration Part 1

Yesterday after work, my husband and I decided to go ahead and go to Lowe's to get paint and supplies for our bathroom project this weekend.  We picked up everything we needed to start painting.  Today (Friday) after work we decided to go ahead and tape off the bathroom. 

 Best tip ever, get Glad Press N' Seal for your toilet, it keeps you from having to worry about getting paint all over it!

Well, after talking about it while we were taping, we decided to go ahead and paint tonight.

 It actually only took us about an hour and a half.

I love the color!  It's so calm and relaxing, it's lighter in person, and I can't wait for it to dry so we can put everything back together! We decided not to replace all the fixtures this weekend, but we will be doing that over the next couple of weekends.   There are still are a couple of things we will be doing to the bathroom this weekend though!

After having to chase her out of the bathroom a couple of times (what? It was H-O-T hot in there!)  to avoid having a smurf-dog, the brat finally decided to take a nap.  This is how I found her on the bed, snoozing...she of course woke up to the flash.
