Our Story

Well, we met through work, at the time we both worked for Old Navy.  I was in college at HSU and just started working there part time.  He was full time as a key holder or something like that.  We hated each other.  He was such a jerk!  We even had to be scheduled opposite shifts because we did not get along at all.  We had some mutual friends who made the idea grow on us about the other not being so bad.  We finally became friends after going to see a band play in Little Rock with some friends.  We started hanging out a lot more and eventually started dating.

Three months later, we moved in together, yeah crazy I know.  But hey, when you know it's real, why not jump on it?  We were married a year and a half later. And bought our home on our first wedding anniversary.  We decided a lllllooooonnnnngggg time ago to wait to have kiddos, since we were no where near what you would call ready.  We were those people that our friends will think about and say "Man, THOSE GUYS are parents?!?!"  Well, we grew out of some of that and decided it was time, time for a bit of parenthood!  So enters, Lola Grace!  Our beautiful maltipoo! She is just turned four in February.  She is loving and loyal, oh and spoiled as all get out.  She wasn't in the best shape when we got her, the vet thinks she was used in a puppy mill.  Here she is then, and now.

 

She is full of so much spunk and personality.  I can't even imagine our life today without her in it.

Since then, a lot has changed, I finally finished school, we decided it was time to start a family, began our journey with infertility problems, and so much more.
